Cycling on the Bellarine Peninsula

cycling the bellarineWhether you are a keen road biker or just looking for an afternoon's cycling with the family, Roseneath Villa B&B in Point Lonsdale is in a great location for a cycling holiday.

Keen cyclists may want to explore the back roads of the Bellarine Peninsula which has been Tour de France winner Cadel Evans' training ground for many years.

Casual cyclists can enjoy a lovely 7km ride on a bicycle track to the Queenscliff marina. More energetic cyclists can tackle the Bellarine Rail Trail, which you can join 1km from Roseneath Villa B&B. The 16km ride into Drysdale is all on a designated bicycle track and is a lovely excursion with lunch in Drysdale as a reward. Or you could go further and follow the rail trail all the way into Geelong, a 30km ride (distances indicated are one way).

If you bring your own bicycle, we can offer you a safe place in our garage.

Bicycle hire is available from Sprockt, 44-47 King Street in Queenscliff.
